Our stay began on a positive note with punctual pickup from Cochin, expertly managed by Mr. Retheesh. The journey to Munnar was smooth and well-coordinated. What truly sets Chandy's Windy Woods apart is its authentic Kerala atmosphere. The hotel is staffed by local people who bring genuine warmth and authenticity to every interaction. You immediately feel welcomed into Kerala's culture, not just as tourists but as guests. Food & Hospitality The culinary experience was exceptional - delicious Kerala cuisine served with no hesitation and true hospitality. Every meal was a treat, and the staff's willingness to accommodate guests was evident throughout our stay. Facilities Even on rainy days, we were never bored thanks to the excellent recreation room. The facilities are well-maintained and perfect for families looking to spend quality time together. Our room's balcony offered stunning views that made every morning coffee special. Suggestions for Improvement While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, I have a couple of constructive suggestions: Outdoor Dining Service: The outdoor dining area has great potential, but could benefit from additional staffing during busy periods. We noticed one large family requiring constant attention from a single staff member while other tables waited. Consider adding more servers during peak times, and perhaps offering this as a premium dining experience with table service to justify additional charges. Live Entertainment: The live singing sessions are lovely, but incorporating more Malayalam songs would enhance the authentic Kerala experience. After all, we travel all the way to Kerala to immerse ourselves in local culture - if we wanted hindi entertainment, we could have stayed closer to Capital!

Our last-minute emergency getaway to Chandys Windy Woods in Munnar turned out to be an absolute blast for me, my wife, and our daughter! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like old friends with their warm smiles and caring attention. The food at Tornado Restaurant was seriously delicious, especially when we got to watch Chef Prasath and his amazing team—Pradeep, Shalin, Alwin, Vimal, Sujith, Yathu, and Sooraj—put on a live cooking show with Rogan Josh that was nothing short of mouthwatering magic. Add some live music one night during dinner and a totally unique tea shop tucked inside the indoor forest trek, and you’ve got a recipe for pure joy. Plus, with fun games like pool and carrom in the rec room and a great gym, there was never a dull moment. What started as a stressful emergency trip quickly became a relaxed, fun-filled family escape we won’t forget. The spa was pure bliss, the pool inviting, and the spacious grounds perfect for our daughter to explore. To top it all off, they even gifted us a mug with our family photo from the resort—a cute souvenir to remind us of our awesome trip back home in the UK. If you’re after a gorgeous, laid-back spot with amazing food, fab activities, and a welcoming vibe, Chandys Windy Woods is the place to be!

Fabulous little hotel, nestled in Munnar's hills! We are most definitely returning, next time directly from the airport, for R&R for a week! We cannot say enough about the superb staff, the amazing food, the service, and how beautiful the location and hotel are. We went during the rainy season and it was indeed a slice of heaven in the misty hills, cool (shorts and T shirt weather). My spouse and I have been all over the planet, at luxurious and boutique hotels, but Chandy's could go toe to toe with anywhere we have stayed. STRONGLY RECOMMEND. Go, and just relax!

Exceptional service I received from the staff, particularly Swathi Binoy and Pradeep. Swathi went above and beyond to ensure that every request was met with efficiency and a smile. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. My child enjoyed her company. Pradeep was equally commendable, providing excellent support in the dining area. He ensured that our meals were enjoyable and catered to our preferences, which added a personal touch to the experience. The attention to detail, from check-in to check-out, was remarkable. The hotel’s ambiance was soothing, with beautifully decorated common areas, and the location made it easy to explore nearby attractions.

The location is beautiful. The artificial forest and waterfall are superb and a great hike. The room was a bit underwhelming for a 5* hotel and could be better furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant is very good with impeccable service and a stunning view.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff is attentive and friendly! We were traveling as a family -2 adults and 2 kids ages 3 and 7, and the staff was so kind! The location is gorgeous in the mountains of Munnar. The indoor trekking is really cool and enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was delicious! There is also a game room with air hockey and a pool table that was great for letting our kids play. We had such a nice, relaxing time there -would recommend to anyone!

Recently spent 4 nights at Windy Woods and it was absolutely amazing. The staff are incredibly attentive, nothing is too much. The Cricket World Cup final was on and they went out of their way to make it a great day (despite the result). We had 2 rooms during the stay, a superior deluxe which had a great view and then moved to a family deluxe which was much larger and the bathroom was a touch fancier but less of a view. Breakfasts were excellent with a huge range of foods + made to order items.

Excellent and courteous staff. Very generous and customer oriented. Very happy with the services provided by the hotel. The spa was a bit expensive for no reason is what I felt.

I've stayed at many varieties of hotels, but this was sure was a proper 5* experience. The service was excellent. The location of the hotel in between tea plantations etc was really nice. The views on a hot day in Kerala from the room were second to none. Felt that this stay really made our stay in Kerala memorable. Breakfast was also high quality which good range of food and flawless service from waiters.
